A few years ago, I spent many hundreds of dollars buying Microsoft Office Professional Edition , which runs on the old Windows XP operating system. My new computer's operating system is Windows 7. It would be financially ridiculous for anyone to uninstall expensive Windows7 just for an XP software issue. I need to use PowerPoint. My question is: Is there any website, or service pack, or downloadable thing that will make my Office software work on my Winsows7 computer? I do not plan to do anything that could hurt or destroy my computer. I have no intentions of tampering with my computer. I just want to use my Office software.

Do I throw away the Office disk, since it is no longer useful, or instead, is there some type of thing that will get the Office XP software to work on Windows7? Thanks for helping with this, please reply. I need to make some PowerPoint presentations.
