Run the truck racks wire harness down between the cab and bed of the truck. Unplug 7-way trailer lights at the rear of the truck and connect the modular wire harness. Connect the modular wire harness to the racks wire harness and secure with electrical tape. Coil access wire and secure with a cable tie. Check that all lights are properly working before operating. Each Magnum truck headache rack comes with two stake pocket tie downs. While it took longer than I expected to get it, once I got it and it was installed on my truck, it was worth the wait time.

Each overhead rack is different, but they are all mounted to your pickup by inserting a bolt into the provided holes and tightening nuts onto the bolts with an adjustable wrench to secure the load bar in place.
The load bar bears the weight of the overhead rack and, once installed, the headache rack as well. Mount the left upright support to the load bar by following the manufacturer's instructions. Insert the necessary bolts into the provided holes and secure the upright support to the load bar by tightening a nut onto the bolt. Attach all necessary clamps provided by the manufacturer to secure the load bar and upright supports to the bed of your pickup in the proper locations.
Consult your installation manual for proper placement. Mount the overhead bar by following the manufacturer's instructions. Insert the bolts into the provided holes, make sure all connections are tight and secure the overhead bar by tightening nuts onto the bolts with an adjustable wrench.
